- Instant Privacy Spacing: 4' to 5' centers (trunks of each tree are 4' to 5' apart). If able to wait, these trees can also be planted wider apart than 4'-5'
- Watering: We recommend these be watered carefully through the first spring/summer especially as newly-planted tree. Note that not much growth occurs the first year as the tree is initially develops its root system. In addition, laurels often are affected if being moved- the first year after planting they may drop leaves, turn yellow/green and generally do not look so great. However, these are hardy trees and over time will come back and regain their color and vibrancy. We typically recommend that you be consistent especially the first growing season/first winter, as they usually will show signs of new growth their first spring if the new location was selected correctly and they will continue to flourish from then on.
- Comments: English laurel can look somewhat wild if left unpruned.
